    House gig opening

It's just funny because it literally took us 6 months to get approval to fill the position. I've been doing this plus my new job, PM, for 6 months.

    House gig opening

Hahaha! it's amazing to me that no one has applied for this job. I know it's not in a highly populated area, but wow!

    Conventional Fixtures Super Trouper maintenance

Is there not still the risk of the lamp exploding? that's what I was worried about

    Conventional Fixtures Super Trouper maintenance

can anyone recommend the proper gloves to change super trouper lamps? Our maintenance department has flash arc suits with helmet/facemasks that we can use, but the gloves are far too stiff and thick to actually use to change a lamp.

    Ouch! Static electricity

We have this same problem in my theatre in North Carolina, but only in the winter. In the summer it's not a problem at all.

    575W & 750W Source 4

Re: source 4 575 vs 750Starksk, thanks for confirming this. I had called my dealer and they gave me a part number of "7060B7019". In looking at the exploded diagram, this might just be the ceramic by it self.

    575W & 750W Source 4

Re: source 4 575 vs 750right, that's my assumption. but that's only the issue with the lamp socket assembly, right? meaning if i use the body of the older ones and order a new $20 lamp socket assembly rated for 750w there's problem, correct? and is there a difference between an HPL750 and...

    575W & 750W Source 4

Re: source 4 575 vs 750I also have some new 750W S4 lekos, the socket assembly looks the same and I think they will swap easily, but I need to convert a few of the older ones. My issue is that I bought some 750w lamps (HPL750-C) and they don't even fit into the old socket, there is an extra...

    575W & 750W Source 4

source 4 575 vs 750Hey All, I have some Source Four lekos that are about 13 years old. they say "575w maximum" on the sticker on the yoke. I want to use 750w lamps in them, is there anyway to make this happen? can I buy a new lamp socket assembly, and do they make different ones? thanks

    ETC smartpack SL1210 wiring

I thought it was obvious that I'm looking for 12 channels of 1.2k dimming. preferrably rack mounted. Looking in the $14-1500 range. The touring system is twice the dimming I need at 3 times the price.

    ETC smartpack SL1210 wiring

we have had the problem indoors and out. But not necessarily every time we set up. The audio snake is digital. All cabling from amps to speakers is NL4 The smartpack touring system would be perfect except for the price. I can't seem to find too much information on the smartbar. The product...

    ETC smartpack SL1210 wiring

I was hoping for something rack mountable, what I mean by messy is that dimmer packs just don't look neat, wires this way, cables that way etc. The dimmer noise isn't a 60hz hum, it's just more of a buzz coming through the audio system when you raise the fader. it's not anything in the audio...

    ETC smartpack SL1210 wiring

ETC support said you could use a range plug. but the still doesn't get me to edison. Well, anyone have any suggestions for rack mount dimmers that can be powered via edison? We're trying to get out of the messy dimmer packs and cut out that dimmer noise in the PA.
