I am no further along in solving my issue than I was 4 days ago when i posted. The guys on here talk in too technical terms for the average person to understand...so it just mumbo-jumbo. I even had my girlfriend read these comments as she is college educated and she just shook her head. Anyway...

There were 2 of these dimmers up in the ceiling somewhere that were left behind. (attached)

I beloeve there was a box somewhere in the ceiling that contained 2 of these units and dimmed the lights.
