Yep, straight out of the 80's and still sounds great! The really don't make things like they used to.. Anyways I need a source for the little plastic knobs (as you can imagine a few are missing) I'd also like to replace two of the faders (slightly bent tabs) thanks in advance!
I'm using a wireless SM58, the PGX4 series.. And it didn't sound all that good on the front end in my headphones.. Its already muddy, so I'm thinking that the only thing to change is the microphone itself.. Then again I guess it's possible that he isn't that talented :)
I've been hired to do a local talent show and everything went well at auditions today except for one guy who is beatboxing. It's very muddy through our system, more than just the channel EQ could fix. Im wondering what the best fix for this is... Maybe a condenser mic and some distance between...
Either Shure PGX series or Sennheiser EW100 G3 series.. I like them both, the Sennheisers seem to be a bit more durable than the Shures. You might give the Shure PGX Digital mics out, I haven't had any experience with them yet, but I got a shipment in the other day and they look like good stuff!
I want to motorize my grand curtain (I get bored sometimes)... It's currently manually operated with ropes.. pretty generic. Any thoughts to cheap ways to do this? Ideally something DMX or dimmer controlled would be nice (as farfetched as it is to put a motor on a dimmer), but good old fashioned...
How would I obtain an FCC portable radio license in the easiest way possible? What does it cost? how important is it really to have a license? And what are the penalties if you were caught without one?
http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/lighting-electrics/27595-nsi-dds9800s.html This may help! It's not quite the same issue, yet it still may help you as my dimmers are doing some of the same things.
I have a pair of Martin Roboscan PRO 518 for sale. One of them needs what I believe to be just a cog for the pan motor, other than that they work great.Asking $1000 + shipping
