    Strand 300 console not booting.

Ironically, minutes after writing my last post, my Fluke Multimeter had its battery run out. No more testing of hardware until I run out and grab another 9v battery.Still, suggestions are requested :)Edit: Right before it died, I was able to verify that both DC legs leading to the mainboard...

    Strand 300 console not booting.

I have removed the battery entirely. As it was soldered directly onto the mainboard in this case, I can't reaily replace it. I'll have to go out and purchase a 3.3v battery and solder one in it's place. I don't mind if the console loses time. The battery didn't leak badly and still holds 2.2v...

    Strand 300 console not booting.

Hey all, I've run into issues lately. I have a Strand 300 console with a programming surface, submaster surface, and two screens built in. The two screens do not function properly when the console does decide to Post in the first place. I've been using external monitors. The internal ones do...

    Stone 2048/Expert/Stone Tiger controller

Actually, I think you're right. It's quite possible that this company is ripping off one of the worst product designs ever (at least when it comes to elation and SGM).I've never been a fan of the SGM consoles. Especially since every fixture SGM makes can be tracked back to other manufacturers...

    Stone 2048/Expert/Stone Tiger controller

They don't copy the Elation controllers, Neo-Neon makes them for elation.

    Stone 2048/Expert/Stone Tiger controller

One of the major manufacturers of these consoles is Neo-Neon. If you look in the back of their Entertainment catalogue (if you have one available), they are listed somewhere around 530 if I'm not mistaken.Neo-Neon is taking a significant amount of heat over the move to copy the Avo consoles...

    LED pars

All of the American DJ line as well as All of the Chauvet line (With the exception for the 1-Watt LED models) are made by Neo-Neon, the Parents company of Irradiant. It all comes out of the same factory in China. Just figured I'd throw that out there in case you didn't know. And yes, they do...

    North West Lighting FX

Technically, by contract, the company I work for is supposed to be the master distributor for Neo-Neon for the entire United States. Neo-neon totally broke that contract after we ordered a few million dollars in their LED products and keep selling to companies like American DJ and Chauvet...

    Interesting new LED Par

I would have only given the MSRP for any product on the neo-neon line. Unless we order by the shipping container load, our ordering prices suck, and I have no intention of ordering anything else from them anytime soon unless it's an emergency replacement for something, but I do agree with you...

    Interesting new LED Par

Better yet, if anyone has specific questions about the product, shoot me over a message and I'll give China a call to get the exact details of the products for you guys. Neo-Neon has a tendency to get a LOT of details wrong in their cut sheets.FYI, This company also makes half of American DJ...

    Interesting new LED Par

You won't find a lot of these new fixtures in the US just yet as they are chinese imports from a company called neo-neon. I do subcontract work for a distributor of Neo-Neon products and will give the manufacturer a call today to find out how much I can get these things for to answer the...

    "Local" Theatrical Supply Shops

Re: %26quot%3BLocal%26quot%3B Theatrical Supply ShopsI live in Boca Raton, Florida but the theater where I work at is in the heart of West Palm Beach. It's a 35 minute drive just to get to the theater alone. In between, there are a few different stores that have scattered supplies, but when I...

    Unsafe conditions

To correct the "Inconsistencies" in the post, I must state that it was the fire marshals office that was contacted, but the fire chief on duty was who had arrived on scene, not the fire marshal himself. The Police were already located at the facility, as there are generally 10-20 squad cars...

    Unsafe conditions

The sad part is I really wasn't there long enough for anything to escalate. No yelling was done, In fact it seemed as if the police were the ones throwing it out of proportion more than anyone. The manager seemed more in shock than anything. The police were the ones pissed off at the whole...

    Unsafe conditions

Nope, no altercations happened at all. After speaking with the manager I left the facility and spoke with a police officer I knew who told me which office to called. Gave them a call, they asked for my first name and phone number in case they needed to contact me. I thought nothing else of...
