Martin Lighting MAC 2000 Profile II

When you replaced the lamps did you reset the lamp counter on the fixture? I know some Mac 2ks had a safety feature for lamp hours, another thing to try if you're comfortable is to reseat any cables in the base of the fixture as the heat from operating may be loosening enough to drop a connection.

CM & Milwaukee announce the first wireless, battery chain hoist

Understandable, If it helps the Patent Pending Brake system is on CM Lodestars as well. and the wireless control is part of their line already from Milwaukee. That said, I don't think this is a replacement for how we use motors but for an installed show where you're dead hanging a truss after...

CM & Milwaukee announce the first wireless, battery chain hoist

could you explain why? This is backed by a pretty strong company. Uses CM internals, and has all the same safety features that a CM lodestar has, the only difference is this runs on a DC18v Battery instead of 120v or 3 phase.I'll admit, at first seeing it I had a similar reaction but as I...

Check that cable and see if its 120 ohm or if its mic cable. Also check the ends and see if they're wired the same on each side.

gotchas for transporting a Sensor Touring rack on its “back”?

Bring some D rings with plates and a few screws and screw the D rings to the deck and ratchet the rack to the floor. Putting it on its back is going to be difficult to do safely, getting it back up is going to be worse.

gotchas for transporting a Sensor Touring rack on its “back”?

are we talking the full 96 channel rack or a small 12-24 channel? If the full 96 channel rack (why would you do this to your loaders), I don't see any reason why it would cause any damage. the smaller 12-24 no worries at all.
