How are the fixtures being powered currently and what is your DMX to 0-10V controller? How are you controlling them?

Press and hold SHIFT and hit ESC. That will lock the conolse. Press it agin to unlock.

Just a couple of thoughts - DMX line terminated? - Try a different gateway - bad DMX cable - cable may test fine on one fixture but not another - one of the fixtures may have a bad DMX chip, try them one at a time Just a couple of quick thoughts

I used this in some LED fixtures last summer and was very impressed by it. It worked really well and was easy to work with. I was able to cut it like a regular piece of gel. It seems to hold up but I don't know if it is as durable as the harder plastic ones.

I would go back and ask them about it. Maybe they have a reason for it. Depending on your relationship they may cover the mistake or split it with you. It could be they missunderstod what you were looking for. Everyone is human and makes mistakes.

A couple of questions: 1 . How is your DMX run, is tehre a network? 2 . how many fixtures do you have? 3. What kind of fixtures.

Interesting idea. The problem i see is that it is going to greatly depend on who is doing the assessment; and how they interpenetrate it. I have just started down this rabbit hole and will be interested to see what others think.

I have not seen any like that. My guess is homemade or the company no longer exists.

It sounds like a data issue. Is everything properly terminated? One unit could have a bad DMX chip that is corrupting the data.

Personally I feel like it is a waist of time and electricity, if anything it will shorten lamp life.

I think the lamp is out too far.

I have done this with a 12V battery from a UPS wired to a switch and then to a 12V MR16 lamp. It was simple and bright.
