Just a couple of thoughts
- DMX line terminated?
- Try a different gateway
- bad DMX cable - cable may test fine on one fixture but not another
- one of the fixtures may have a bad DMX chip, try them one at a time
Just a couple of quick thoughts
I used this in some LED fixtures last summer and was very impressed by it. It worked really well and was easy to work with. I was able to cut it like a regular piece of gel. It seems to hold up but I don't know if it is as durable as the harder plastic ones.
I really like this idea. Can't believe I didn't think of it. Thank you. Even at $1.25 each it does add up quickly. This seems to be the cheapest I can find.https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/60746690
I would go back and ask them about it. Maybe they have a reason for it. Depending on your relationship they may cover the mistake or split it with you. It could be they missunderstod what you were looking for. Everyone is human and makes mistakes.
Interesting idea. The problem i see is that it is going to greatly depend on who is doing the assessment; and how they interpenetrate it. I have just started down this rabbit hole and will be interested to see what others think.
UW-Whitewater, Whitewater WI, the Hicklin Black Box and Barnett Theater are all LED spaces. I helped spec and install it about 2 years ago now. Let me know if you want a tour or to talk about it.
I get these for general use extension cords, they can print right on the cable the entire length.http://www.milspec-direct.com/Category.aspx?CategoryId=16
