    Wireless Program sound upgrade/replacement?

The magic trick is to employ an audio transformer on at least one end. That eliminates any concerns about ground loops or less than ideal common mode rejection.

    Loudspeakers Advice for outdoor speakers

Try the Control 1 speakers knowing they are likely to die under those conditions, but they aren't expensive either. They have low sensitivity, so they need more power to get loud. Power is heat in the voice coils. The high duty cycle of droning sounds may produce more heat than music or speech...

What kind of sounds are to be amplified? Just speech, battle sounds, music, or what?

    Wireless Program sound upgrade/replacement?

Dante is great for many things, but it seems like overkill for this. Analog audio on unshielded, twisted pair usually works just fine, and it takes very little cost or effort to try. No need for widgets, network switches, routing software, Dante enabled speakers, etc. Consider the fact that...

    Wireless Program sound upgrade/replacement?

    Altman LED Fixtures intermittent failure

I have commented about this before. Most non-consumer electronic devices made these days use switching power supplies. Switching supplies produce quite a bit of amount of heat. 3 Pin to 4 Pin?

It can be done but there's no pinout standard. It's a matter of figuring out how to connect a particular type of mic to that transmitter. Documentation to wire mic brand X to transmitter brand Y isn't always available. Information is more available when the mic company doesn't compete with their...

    "Other duties as assigned"

We had battery powered faucets and toilets in our building, completed in 2009. Touch less fixtures were the university standard for new construction and refurbishment. All the batteries started dying around the same time (on a bell curve), but I could never get the campus plumber to just...

gotchas for transporting a Sensor Touring rack on its “back”?

Rent a truck with a lift gate. But, be sure to check the door clearance versus the height of the rack.

    Elation Fuze Z350 Wash bugs

It sounds like Steve nailed it. Just in case, for consoles that don't have a DMX speed adjustment, Doug Fleenor Design makes a DMX Decelerator.

    Is this photo a fake?

These days, most people see a particular occupation as short term, and switch every 3-5 years. With that perspective, there's no reason to learn any more than necessary to collect the pay check. It's very sad that few people have professions anymore.
