GrandMA2 on PC and MIDI control

You can use the DMX in feature to trigger cue stacks and other elements. You can use any DMX console for this.

GrandMA2 on PC and MIDI control

Hi There. As far as I am aware, MA2 doesn't respond to midi notes, rather midi show control (MSC) or midi timecode (MTC) Although I am happy to be corrected. For your application you would probably have to run a computer inline as a converter. I know the LD for Linkin Park a few years ago did...

    Ham Radio for Communication?

At least in Australia, but I suspect similar in the US, those radio's are illegal FULL STOP. I picked one up for ham usage (yes, I am licensed) and was informed that even if you lock them down, due to the fact they are "front panel programmable" by default to the emergency service allocation...

    Clearcom - Audio Only

Hi Joe.Unfortunately, it is not that simple. The 3 lines in the mic cable are used as power, Audio and ground (shield). In theory, you could design a filter for the audio line, and then use it, but unless you have the components sitting around, it would probably cost more than renting some...

    Question for lighting directors/operators

If I am designing, I use the following chart to help:- make sure you can see the actors - add colour/texture (sidelight, breakups etc) - any special effects (moving lights etc)Hope that is of some help.

    USB "GO BUTTON"

I made one. Rather than smash up a keyboard, have a look at the IPAC. seems to be used for making arcade game simulators, but works just as well for a go button.

    Unclean power on amps.

That would explain it. Running unbalanced line over large areas is always going to be a problem.

Mixers/Consoles PreSonus Studiolive 16.4.2 For Live Theatre

It is a useful tool. I use it for eq's etc on consoles such as ls9's and presonus consoles where I don't normally get the eq curve displayed. I would never use it in a show situation unless I was desperate (ie no other choice)

    Wireless Multiple Discrete UA844

Only thing I can see from an rf side that may be funky is if there are enough antennae near each other, it may start messing with the tuning (not frequency, but the actual front end of the receiver).

Comms - irritating 'buzz'/'ground' heard by all

Interesting the op says it is a regular interval. Sounds almost like a system that only powers up every now and the. Unfortunately it could be something like a security system, fire alarm etc.
