ETC Announces the ColorSource PAR, a low(er) budget LED

It is actually a really nice product. They are built nicely and have a hell of a punch for what they are. Great buy for universities looking for cheap led's.

I came in during week 5 of the program and stayed for 5 weeks (3 classes...1 weekend class....and a internship off site). I only paid for 2 classes. Everyone is different to be honest. Some students came for free on a scholarship, others paid for the whole thing. Some stayed the whole 8 weeks...

Well to start...we had students in the program that came in knowing very little. Costume designers, set designers, and lighting people. All with very different knowledge. No matter what you knew....you learned new stuff, and reinforced old knowledge as well. Week 1 and 3/4 were more aimed for...

    Should I get the Degree

It first depends on what side of theatre you are looking to go into. The performing side, or tech side. Performing side is harder to create a living off of while the tech side is easier, but takes time.

Tech Crew Olympics, need some ideas

I did something similar back in high school. It was very fun and became a yearly thing. What we did was first have everyone line up with a power drill. In front of them was a 2by4 with 4 different sized screws in it, 4 different sized screws on the ground, and a broken head screw in the wood...
