There are a couple out there that are widely used. Blackout and Luminair. To get their output onto a 5-pin DMX cable you would also need a wireless router and something like the eDMX1 MAX from DMX King.

Agreed. I have ran into the same issue with helmets. Just cause it will protect you in one activity doesn't mean it will protect you in all activities.
