Cool. Thanks for the info. My plan is to mount a static wash for the backdrop and use the midstage spots to project gobos on the stage and backdrop. We already have a good conventional front wash and some LED backdrop wash fixtures but I will need to add more.
Yes I do plan to get a few R2 washes for FOH when we can. My main concern is will the lack of zoom be a deal breaker for me from the midstage truss with only a 20' throw.
I am considering a few rogue R2 spots for church. We have a FOH truss about 25 feet from downstage and a truss about 20 feet above midstage.I have read good things about the R2 but I am worried the beams will not be large enough with our short through. How much larger are the beams with the...

Thanks guys!I like the Altman and Enttec fixtures I am getting prices on those. I also found some by Coloronix that are RGBW recessed cans. It doesn't have to be a PAR unit because it will be used for ambient lighting. We already have stage lighting in that room so adding DMX controlled house...
We have a small venue with a low ceiling. I would like to mount DMX dimmable 120v RGB recessed fixtures into the drop ceiling. This was my preferred method. I have since learned this type of fixture is very hard to come by and there must not be much of a market for it. They do not have to be RGB...
I am having trouble finding opti par lenses. Will an S4 par lense fit an opti par? They look the same and the S4 are much more common and come in a pack.
What is a good online store that has these in stock?
This may sound like a stupid question but I have read different answers from different manufactures. What is the proper orientation of a par light lense? I always thought the convexed side went to the front/outside of the lamp. I took down several PAR fixtures the other day and all the lenses...
