Hey CB,We have 4 shure ulx handheld microphones (j1 band) we use in our space and we have this recurring issue where the mics will magically reset their groups and channels (sometimes in the middle of a performance) back to group 1 channel 1. They'll also randomly switch between a group x...
I suppose anything is possible. If that is the case is there anything we can do to keep the gobos from slipping? We have an event now but once it's over we're going to go look at them again and see what's up.
Thanks for the speedy reply (and I love carl from jimmy neutron, lol)They're all 36 degrees, and I dont believe they've been over-tightened. They are a little old though. I suppose the tilt knob could be wearing down simply from usage. Is replacing them something we should look into? How much...
Hey CB,We recently hung some source 4's from a bar hanging down from our ceiling with some gobos in them. They fixtures have started to sag down, and the images from the gobos are moving from their correct placement. We've tightened them as tight as they can go, but have been unable to keep...
Our electrical engineer came in yesterday and said the same thing. They are 20amp circuits, however they've been like this for years without issue and we're only having issues with that one circuit.I figured it was the inrush that was tripping it which is why I set them on timed faders so...
So we currently have about 20 1000w scoop lights for our house lights. On one pair (for the most part there is 2 fixtures per circuit) the circuit has been popping the past few days. After some trouble shooting I've discovered the circuit only pops if we use the bump button on our etc expression...
Thanks! We're actually in the process of planning a renovation (mostly asthetic unfortunately) but I told my boss that I wanted to get both our lighting board and mixer serviced, as each has a few little quirks that it shouldn't. Hopefully we'll see some stuff get fixedAppreciate all your help!
It's not the grandmaster. On the second monitor it displays the grandmaster at 100.Im going to talk to my boss about calling etc after trying compressed air.
I will try in blind mode. I think it is a fader problem. Almost none of our submasters when at the FL position get a FL reading. They all stop at 98 or 99.
You would use CTRL + ALT + F12 (or CTRL + ALT + FN F2) on the keyboard with your console. The one you would use to (for instance) label a cue or submaster.
This occured even when the fader was at zero to begin with. I even attempted pulling it up to full and then back down to zero. Nothing changed. I read about what you said online (in a thread here on CB actually) and tried it. I tried recording the inhibitive cue with the fader both up and down...
I did follow that manual when I did it. Though I had to use the [type] key rather than using the [-] key as was listed in the manual.I understand what an inhibitive sub does, though I do appreciate the description. My question was - The inhibitive sub that I recorded didn't perform what it...
Hi Everyone,First post here. At my work we have an ETC expression 3. I was just trying new things out, and had never made/used an inhibitive submaster before. I set one, and the red bump LED started blinking, and after a quick google search I read that you have to move the fader up to get it...
