I had considered going that route, but we do not have the funds for that and it would be much more cost effective for us to just replace the hardware ourselves. We also have a decent supply of new sockets on hand, so the wires are the main concern at this point.

I'm sorry about that, you are right that the proper terminology is lamp. I have fallen into the bad habit of calling them bulbs because our directors and administration would be completely lost... I shall try to remember to use proper terminology on this forum though.

Okay, good to know. We tend to use the same types of lamps (GLA is our most common) and will probably stick with those lamps because they are 575w and won't burn up our fixtures. I'll have to keep an eye out for the lamp base size, thank you for the warning about that.
