    Loudspeakers Weird speakers...~90 ohms ?

Yep, a classic Dukane paging amp...those things are workhorses. Some older amps have an octal socket that looks like it is for a tube, but is for an input or output transformer.

    Cable Storage/Inventory Management

We have a large piece of plywood mounted on the wall in our shop. All the cables are on hooks which are labeled as to what goes where. We have another small storage room with other equipment, it has pegboard on the wall, again labeled with what goes where. Of course, nobody knows what anything...

    What do you consider yourself?

Depending on what I am doing I could be a technician, installer, jack of all trades... you name it, we do it :)

Control/Dimming Old "telephone" switchboard style lighting patch panels

my mom's work has an old ward leonard system...most of it was replaced with an ETC Unison, but the patch panel is still intact, as is the whole cabinet. I will get some pics next time I am home.

    Keys in high school

I am also a building manager for the student union. When working, we carry a locked ring of keys that opens almost every door in the building. If it was lost it would cost thousands of dollars to rekey everything. We use card swipes on all student organization doors. The person's student ID...

If you could change one thing about your theatre...

Well let's see...a new floor for the auditorium would be great, seeing as they redid the rest of the room already but didn't have enough money for the floor. Then... New wiring to our high ceiling bar New dimming system for our 24 circuits of stage lighting New light board A new building :)

Post a pic of your theater or tech stuff

After over a month of remodeling, our auditorium is complete. They put in a brand new drop ceiling, fluorescent lighting, wall sconces, dimming system, wall coverings, and paint. It's a million times better. Here's a shot of part of the room: Looking at our two lighting bars. The one farther...

    Keys in high school

As a building manager, we have a lot of responsibility. Alarm codes, safe combinations, 2000 dollar ring of keys, and access into every office and room in the entire student union. It's an important position...and when things go missing, we all get on the hot seat.

    Your worst theatre injury

No injuries here but during HS we had a kid taking lights down from our catwalk, he was walking down the stairs and tripped, fell down and the light ended up his chest. They called 911 and all that good stuff...he was OK though. This is why we normally used a rope to haul lights up and down :D

    Keys in high school

Personally, I have been issued three building keys from the university. One key opens a single outside door and the main office. I have other keys for our other campus where I occasionally have to work events. Once in the student union, our boss has a set of keys that we take and carry around...
