There is something VERY un-nerving about a board that crashes. I want them to work out some of the issues and make it just a great board.
And of course there is always the MA sitting there, holding its place in the high end world.

The jands board is a cooooool board. I really like it, but I need more seat time to see what it does.

I think finding a waterproof case and putting the dimmer in it would be the best best.

Some elation lunch box dimmers are cheap. There are many options. A budget would be helpful...
With some gel and some diffusion a streamlight stinger can be **** bright depending on what size beam pattern you need. They also sell a super reflector.
ETC will let you know whats up with the variations of the caps. Osram has so many different variants and lamps. You can't expect them to know everything....
Don't trash the new porcelain to make it work. If you own a couple hundred. You have a few spares around so you are not dying for fixtures. If you own only 24 and 4 go down. Now thats a different story.Contact any ETC rep and explain the situation. They are usually very friendly.
