KSub should only be considered if you have tight restrictions on space or weight. There are much better alternatives out there.

In pro audio circles the Yamaha DSR112 is widely regarded as probably the best price/quality trade off in this segment.I have personal experience with the K12, and it is a capable system. However, the DSR112 have a much beefier tweeter driver, thus outruns most of it's similarly priced...

Insert third party plugins with StudioLive and QLab

Another option: In stead of using mic cues in Qlab, use Studio One (or some other DAW) for all your audio processing, and control it via midi cues from Cuelab. That way you can also, if you wish, use a dedicated computer for the sound processing and another one for cueing/control.

    High School projection software suggestions

Didn't OP specify SD projectors? Should 5 SD streams really be a problem on that hardware, presuming he renders the video files in SD resolution with a sane codec?

Experience with cheap Artnet to DMX-nodes?

I'm in the market for a cheap Artnet to DMX box. Have anyone here ever tried some of the cheap ones you find on EBay? Are they any good? Intended usage is for youth/children amateur musical productions in our local churches.Like...

    Mixers/Consoles Sound System Help

Personaly I would start with a cable tester, pen&paper, a ton of elbow grease and a quite weekend to map out ALL cabling and patching. Unless you are going to re-design the sound system deployment from scratch you NEED to know what goes where. And which cables are bad. Chances are it will be...

Buying first computer for show control

I positively abhore Apple, but I the church I work for bought a MB Pro and a full Qlab license anyway. on my initiative. As far as my research could uncover there's just nothing that comes even close to Qlab for a payable amount of money, even if you already own a WinPC. Believe me, I've searched...
