Conventional Fixtures Using a Gobo in a Source 4 70 degree

I'll agree with @derekleffew as the wider the beam, the less crisp and sharp the projection. If clarity is of importance, splitting the total projection into smaller areas will not only provide a cleaner gobo image, but the brightness will certainly benefit as well.Thank you-

ADJ, Elation, Chauvet, professional use moving profile heads

Hi Bob!Apollo will make custom and stock glass gobos down to 15mm image area, but no smaller. The lining up of color plates is somewhat problematic and life expectancy diminishes with the small size.

ADJ, Elation, Chauvet, professional use moving profile heads

As you consider using those three fixtures for custom corporate gobos, be aware the image area size should be considered for best detail and highest resolution projection. Force S Profile (17mm), Fuze Profile (25mm), and Focus Profile (13mm)

Just how fast should a gobo burn out?

Stainless steel alloy and thickness is key here. Most catalog gobos from the 'other guys' are .005 inches thick and made of 400 series stainless steel. Apollo uses .008 inch thick 300 series stainless steel with higher nickel and chromium content. No rusting or burning since 1992.You get what...
