I am currently a freelance technician as the owner of Langley Backstage Consulting, journeyman IATSE stagehand since 1991 (Local 15 in Seattle), and AV Tech with Production Services AV (PSAV). I have worked as a staghand at most major venues in Seattle. I received a BFA in Technical Theatre from the University of Colorado ('90). I managed the Olympia High School Performing Arts Center in Olympia, Washington for 10 years where I also taught a Stage Technology, and was on the staff at Cornish College of the Arts as the Lead Lighting Technician for 2.5 years. I have been a Master Electrician at professional theatres in Seattle and summer theatre festivals in Colorado and California.
