Easiest way is probably to get something like SFX on your laptop, then loopback a midi trigger from QLC+ to SFX to trigger your sequence. Or vice versa.FWIW, it's probably not the end of the world to have to hit go on lights, alt tab to another program, and hit go again.

Read the manual, and check the taps inside. You may need to move them around. Also, it maybe not be compatible at all, some 1200w class movers aren't.

I think 12v led tape is your best bet. RGB for flexibility, or if you only need each book to be a single color throughout the show, buy several colors of one color reels. Cut it up and stick it where you need it. It's pretty cheap from China, and DMX drivers are readily available.

I think this would make sense if you had scrollers, but since LED is additive, it shouldn't look any different if you specifically program it to do that. The only difference is that minuscule offset in angle.

For Sale:(1) ETC L86 EM264 dimmer rack control card. It's in great shape and functions correctly. This is the most modern fully digital model with extra I/O and 2 DMX ins. Fun fact, it runs on a Motorola 68000 series chip. Always good to have a spare if you have one of these racks still...
