So is it the actual wire or just the connection that you have the problem with- we use them, and have had problems with a couple where the wires haven't been taped at the back, which meant that there was alot of pulling on them... aside from that... i love them :D :D :D

Hmmmm... I have a friend who is a doctor, and he reckoned that we did still need the mineral iodine to stop goiter etc. , and that was a good way to get it, and the reason that they put it in our salt was because it doesnt occur naturally in our soil as it does in many countries.

Hi :D A few years ago at one of our local theatres, the set incorporated a pattern painted onto the floor, which was then painted over with black. In one light, the floor appeared just plain black, but in another, the pattern could be seen amazingly... Does anyone know how this can be achieved?

Probably not directly related, but last night I was at a show, just as the actors were arriving. Standing at the doorway, I listened as two actors came up the stairs, discussing "Is it electricianist, or something else?" It took them about minutes to arrive at electrician. Serious.

I don't see how a manafacturer would use three pin over five pin due to cost... by split, I think dt21 means that if you were sending 2 universes down one dmx cable... if that were to happen... then you could split them into 2 3 pin plugs with a common ground. so, from what you all say...

Ok. So. I'm having a little discussion here with a very good friend of mine. He's managed to completely confuse me. I've always been told that a single 5-pin DMX cable is used to carry one lighting universe- that is 512 channels. But I'm told, that actually no, it carries 1024 channels- 2...

Blobby...means patchy and not very bright, even when focused. I did clean both sides of the lenses, yeah, And the reflectors don't look perfect, but they're not dirty- ...I haven't got shutters in :D I will check the lamp bases though! Thankyou very much ^^ yes- zoomspot, not Followspot...
