    ETC Colorsource V Spot

Hello, I had assumed if you used the wireless DMX option on these, you could come out of the unit wired to other fixtures. This does not seem to be the case, and I now notice there is nothing in the manual about coming out wired. Can anyone confirm if this is possible?

    Altman 780W LED Follow Spot

I've also had 2 on order going on 12 months. Same with the B50 weighted bases. Very frustrating. Seems like the bases are low-tech enough they could have been retooled in the US in the last couple years.

    Ground Noise Filters

Thanks for all the additional responses! We did verify correct AC "polarity" and ground at the rack and juke box. I've ordered the transformer isolator, will give it a try and report back.

    Ground Noise Filters

Hello, I'm helping a bar that has an audio system rack and is trying to connect a previously installed jukebox to it. The jukebox was wired with L/R cables (RCA over coax), and would be difficult to replace. We are getting bad ground hum/buzz from the jukebox into the audio rack. We tried...

    Console Advice

Hi Dave, Fair points on the age. The SQ looks awesome, just a bit out of price range. Also in this case local inputs are needed rather than Dante. Having never used it, what are some of the cons of the TF3? Might end up going Midas route as they won't be doing a ton with monitor mixes....

    Console Advice

Hello CB, I've been asked to recommend a new audio console for a small school theater (~100 seats). They currently have an old analog sound board, and mostly perform plays and musicals with hanging/floor mics, but may add some wireless. I've been looking at Midas M32R, A&H Qu24, and Yamaha TF3...

    Duracell Procell Variants

I have used rechargeables for several years and been very happy with them. Like you, I struggle to convince other clients so I just sell them what they want. But totally agree, for my own productions, rechargeables are the way to go.

    Duracell Procell Variants

Hello, I'm hoping someone can clarify a few things regarding Procell variants. The Duracell website does have some information, but it still wasn't clear to me. To my knowledge, there are "standard" gray Procells, which I have been using for a long time (these replaced the yellow version)...

    Costume Lighting

Hello, We will be doing Little Mermaid in the spring, and the costume designer would like to add lighting to Ursula's tentacles. I'm comfortable with the electrical and control side of things, but wondering what the best light option is for use in a costume. LED tape is an obvious option, but...

Thanks, that's good advice. There are definitely things on the console I could dig deeper into!

    Musical Theatre Mixing Resources

I've been searching online for informational/training videos or other resources to get better at mixing musical theatre. It is surprising how little I have found specific to this application, to the point where I feel I must be missing something obvious. Most of what I see is geared toward...

    Realistic Battery Candles

I'm looking to put together a set of 15-20 hand-held battery operated candle sticks for musicals. I'd like them to be as realistic as possible, but given the quantity, cost is also a concern. I'm open to incandescent if they are more realistic, since if carried they would only be used for a...
