Control/Dimming Enttec USB DMX PRO MK1 vs MK2

Thank you all for the answers!I finally opted for a USB PRO MK1 (along with a touchscreen computer and a little "Korg nanoKONTROL2") because one universe is more than enough (for me) and the standalone mode (in MK2) does not allow manual feed between programmed steps.

Control/Dimming Enttec USB DMX PRO MK1 vs MK2

Hello everyone!I want to buy a USB to DMX interface for a small theater company and I am torn between the Enttec DMX USB PRO MK2 and its predecessor (MK1?).The "Standalone playback" function on the MK2 does not appear to be useful in a theatrical environment because, reading the...

    Advice for voice reinforcement.

Grazie! Thank you!Another question that comes to mind is (given the positioning, presumably of three-fourths, on either side, in the middle of the stage) whether it is better to opt for a cardioid like the Rode NT5 or for a shotgun supercardioid like the Rode NTG1.

    Advice for voice reinforcement.

Thanks JLNorthGA! The company was formed by professional actors with a good projection capability. For this reason, strengthening the voice is necessary only in special situations (we are primarily a "tour company"): outdoors, in certain non-theatrical spaces or when speech alternates with...

    Advice for voice reinforcement.

Hi!In our small theater company - we use often a pair of "Bartlett TM-125C" as moderate reinforcement for the actors' voices. They work fine! Now, wanting to buy some new microphone, we are undecided whether to buy other boundary mics (such as Bartlett), or buy a pair of small-diaphragm...

    Greetings from Italy!

Hi to everyone! To tell the truth I'm just a director who runs a small professional theatre company (and I'm used to employ some real technicians when they are needed ;) )... But I really like the technical side of our work and I think that "knowing how things work" is important to work...
