Not sure if it will work on fedora, but i like Banshee. It is a lot like winamp with support for ipods, has a decent search feature, and it also has an album art search feature. It is the best one that i have found. I am running Ubuntu 8.10.

I particularly like Selecon's range of fresnels. I have seen the acclaim 4" units in action, and i have heard good things about the Rama 6" fresnels as well.

They give you the dimensions of the stage on the website. So you can, in theory, use that and do the math to scale get everything into a 1/2" = 1'-0" Scale. Not too big of an issue if you have vectorworks. You would have to trace the Jpeg with lines then scale from there.

POE= Power over Ethernet. Most, if not all ethernet to DMX nodes can accept POE in place of a standard wall wart, even though they have a port for a power adapter.
