I pulled out the dimmer module. When I pulled the module out the breakers were on, as I have always done this. It was a 2.4k dimmer.

What you described is almost exactly what I have been seeing... The setting you described is what we have. 2 rows of seating a few feet from the stage. I used ellipsoidals to have more control but in return found shadows between each beam, much like you described.If fresnels are the way to go...

If I am understanding this correctly, you divided the stage up into 6 sections and then lit those individually correct? With the 3 side fresnel washes? I tried a similar thing, 6 area washes, but cannot get rid of the shadows in between each area wash. There are spots on stage that look great...

Perhaps I should change my question... I am simply thinking of in the round currently because that is the stage we have set up...The biggest problem I am having is spill... The stage is 20' by 25' and seating for the house is about 5' off from the edge of the stage... I am having trouble...

An update on the system. I replaced a few power supplies and ramp cards and now every dimmer channel works! We did, however, find a new problem. There are two racks, Rack 1: 1-96, and Rack 2: 97-144. Unfortunately, rack 2 starts over at 1 so I have two "1" channels in the system and cannot...

It does have have two knobs that tighten down the "ears" as you say.

This could be, seeing as how there is no branding of any kind on the light...At the same time, however, knowing the way my school does business I doubt they would have had custom lights built...

It has in it currently a FEL 1000w bulb with a G9.5 base. Hope that helps... I haven't been able to track this light down anywhere...

I am in need of new lights for productions in the round. Currently I am using a handful of ellipsoidals and par cans... I placed two cyclights on either side of the length of the stage which seemed to help but to me doesn't seem ideal.Can anyone recommend good border lights that can...

It takes a 6 1/4" frame... and I have FEL bulbs in them now if that helps at all
