    Microh LED Razor

I know this is a slightly old Thread, but Considering I have a Microh Razor 45 on demo loan at my venue, I can offer some insight. The Microh version does seem slightly different, the quality seems better than Bill's (Hard to go by with just pictures, I'm not knocking your product, Bill)...

What Would You Do? - Firecracker Effect

I'd be inclined to build a cluster of colored LED's in a similar lay out to the string of firecrackers previously pictured. Each LED would fire as part of a pre-programmed chase or cue. For the sound fx, it would just be a dedicated monitor just below. But that's me, when I'm not on a show I...

    Suggestions for live recording system

Re: budget +1 for Zoom recorders. I was searching high and low for a separate audio recorder for post production video work and Zoom's stuff just seemed perfect. Price is reasonable, User interface is intuitive, quality is excelent, and (on the one i was looking at) very useful aux in...

    I'm speechless!

I don't suppose there's any way to do demos up here in Canada.... I'd love to see these units and see how they compare light wise with the microh line (what I'm currently playing with)

    I'm speechless!

I already have a few of those made up. I'd much prefer if they could build these cans with 5 pin dmx as my entire system is 5 pin. I avoid turn-arounds as a permanent install solution.

What Would You Do? - Firecracker Effect

When we did YCTIWY we threw caution into the wind and used real fireworks. Not only was it against fire regs, city regs, and building regs, these were also illegally brought up from the states. We really hoped that the fire marshall wouldnt show. Where in the venue did the firecrackers have...

make balloons pop with no one holding them.

good to know. Would i be safe to guess that discussing different pyrotechnic effects without the how to part would also extend to that?

    I'm speechless!

how much for 5 pin dmx?

    Sound f/x Onstage Foley Station?

Aren't actors ALWAYS going through a difficult time, flubbing lines, or having issues with other cast? I think it's more of a case of when, not if. :P

    I'm speechless!

I would be very interested in this! More specifically, color quality, brightness. It is a pity it's not 5 pin dmx, but what do you expect from chinese stuff like this. Keep us updated! I'm looking for LED fixtures without flicker for architectural and also stage lighting in a warehouse setting.

    Aquiring Sound Inventory...

I do admit, I've only used the O1V V2, never the O1v original. Though, a friend of mine who leads up a band, bought a V2 for only $2k. They're such a small band, and really should have stuck with an analog board, but this isn't the place for that.Flash: I could spend hours "pricing" out the...

    Aquiring Sound Inventory...

I'm with soundlight there. The Senn E835's sound great and look great too. We just upgraded our wireless sticks from the 835's to the new G3 series with the 900 series capsule. There's a huge difference in sound quality! Definitely sings much nicer than 58's. (not knocking the 58's btw). And...

    Multi-Tool

Re: MultiToolI'm a Gerber guy. I have a flip handle gerber, really nice feel when you're using either the pliers or other tools. I also have an "autoplier" style, where you push a button and the pliers pop out and the handles open (I call it my switchblade). Both are really built well for one...
