Idk if im being tested but I was asked if I can apply gel to windows using soda and a squeegee to knock down light coming into a room for a shoot. anyone done this? I figured cutting and taping would be easiest but I guess there's other ways to do it?

last show I did with over 500 movers the programmer had a burn out check que where the lights would run through most of its parameters and all us techs would keep an eye out for any odd balls before yhe show started

make sure the addressing display isn't set to manual control/standalone. check the fixture channel map to see if you can send a reset to the fixture from the console.

since the thread came back, i got something regarding nema 5-15's acceptable voltage.. what about 277V on a nema 5-15? I've seen a funky setup where lights from a prg shop in europe were sent and they needed one 277V hot leg, neutral and ground. a transformer was sent that took the 120/208v...

we gaff taped the distro so nobody else uses it, and if you think this is bad then you should come work in the wild west where we must get things done even when the budget doesn't provide the proper equiptment to do so. ive seen way worse, perfect example is just yesterday i saw bare end zip...
