Well, this thread makes me think twice... again! I just received four used HES SS 575 CMY fixtures. Two CMY models and two CMY Zoom models. All four are model year 2000. I was expecting the two Zoom models to be 2004 models. Granted, they are all old and are used, BUT they were sold to me...

I'm not concerned with noise as they will be used in clubs with dance and rock music. Another concern is being able to handle rigors of the road. I know the SS are road-worthy, but haven't heard about the Platinum Spots.

The USB part of my Emulation - USB/DMX dongle got crushed. My question is: will any USB/DMX cable/system work with Emulation? Or do I need to buy the cable again for $500?

Hold the fort... I'm new in this territory, but I thought the Studio Spot 575 fixtures required 208v?!?!?! No? If I can plug a Studio Spot 575 CMY Zoom into the wall, that's my choice. Anyone have any for sale???
