    DMX Lighting Software and Hardware

Enttec has the lowest cost USB - DMX interface. It's open source and works with a number of control programs. I would suggest that you take a look at the Creation II OnPC, which is a free download and fully functional. ENTTEC: Open DMX USB LED Lighting & Lighting Controls : DMX, DALI, DSI...

    Wybron™ Mobile Showroom - Visuality 2011 Tour

Unfortunately, there were some last minute changes on that trip and one of the Seattle dates was dropped. If you received an invite from Wybron, you should have gotten an update saying that the date was cancelled. We are currently working on getting the Mobile Light Lab information up on our...

    Coloram vs Coloram2

The major change with Coloram 2 was the addition of remote fan control. To run the two types together, you will have to set the power supply and the Coloram 2's to CR1 or 12-channel mode (under setup on the supply, and toggle switch 2 on the heads). Note this disables the remote fan...

    GoboRam manual needed

Hey Larry, The Goboram (4530) is operationally identical to the Goboram 2 (4590), so the Goboram II manual will get you started. The only read difference is in addressing. Addressing the 4530 is done via a 1-12 address wheel. The Goboram uses 3 channels, so at address 1, the Goboram...

    Arena Dousers

As Jennifer said, I'm laid up with a bum knee, but I can still help you. We at Wybron have recently re-worked the Eclipse Iris to be more robust with fewer moving parts. We actually have a couple of options, the Eclipse I being another. I would be more than happy to get you information, videos...

    Self Tracking followspots

Hello David,Actually, this is a misconception of APII. When you setup a fixture to be used with APII, the program automatically assigns an additional DMX channel to that fixture (12 fixtures, 12 additional DMX channels). The value of these control channels determines what beltpack the fixtures...

    Self Tracking followspots

I would like to point out to everyone here that APII is a very simplistic and effective system. Most people have heard stories about AutoPilot being difficult to setup and calibrate, requiring a full-time person to maintain, time-consuming, unreliable and so on. These were all true of the API...

    Scroller issues

The CR II and CR IT uses a encoder feedback system that is more reliable than optical sensors. On the bottom of the roller, you will see a couple of small round magnets. As the roller turns, the magnets pass by a sensor and the sensor counts how many times the magnetic field fluxuates.

    Color Scrollers

Ok, so the OFFICIAL response from the Wybron engineering dept is that you should terminate the power supply just like any other DMX fixture. No termination of the scrollers is necessary.

That would be me! More to the point, RK was the mascot for Co-op electric companies (mostly rural). He's kind of like a beam projector. Unless you're my age, the only way you know about it is if you read about it somewhere. (There. That should open a can of worms:twisted:)

Dusty Hudgins here. Sales Manager for Wybron, Inc. Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Been in the industry 30 years last March (OLD guy!!) You know what they say, when you get too old to do shows anymore, you go into sales! Anyway, happy to contribute as best I can and share with...

    Color Scrollers

No need to kick me, I'll be happy to respond:) As far as the information here, to the best of my knowledge (I'm not on trial, right?) this is all correct. I will also point out that the Morpheus ColorFader scrollers use a different pin-out. The data and 24VDC pins are switched.

    Scroller issues

The ColoRam does not use an optical sensor. Go through the frames one by one. If they are all correct except the one, you most likely have a bad string (wrong colors). Every time you cycle power to the power supply, the CR's will re-cal themselves. Dusty Hudgins Sales Manager Wybron, Inc.
