    EOS Go Button

Probably a bit more tactile responsive than the space bar on an attached keyboard.

    LED Cycs

Not quite sure of "as many as many feet of them as you have cyc". Our cyc is 30 x 20 foot. I guess the parameter should be - how far apart would you mount them? I have tried to download the ETC calculator app. without success. If anyone reading this has the app please fire in 30 x 20 feet and...

    LED Cycs

These are a lot more expensive then the CSCYC but I agree the later as my best guess would require at least 8 units four up top and four on the floor. So the question is how many Coloforce II 72s would a 32 x 20 foot cyc need? The fewer lights the better if one can get a smooth coverage I reckon.

    LED Cycs

About 4 feet. Using both floor and pipe mounted units. No backlighting or bounce.

    LED Cycs

Currently want to replace our very old three bay, 1000 watt cyc lights with modern LED cycs. I'm looking at ETC CSCYCs and wondering if anyone here is using such. How many would we need to cover a 32' by 20' cyc curtain? Or are their suggestions for other cycs we should look at?

    ETC Expression III

We have a ETC "Expression III" sitting in the light pit. It works fine but the standby power power caps are dud so you can program and run a show but you'll lose it if you turn the board off! Included: full HC Manual and remote focus unit. The old 3 1/2" floppu backup drive replaced with a USB...

Controlling Addrressable LED Strip with DMX

OK I got that. I'm starting using the Arduino SPI drivers and code examples for the WS2815 and WS2812B. I'll program 5volt tape to start with then upgrade with PSU to 12v (my runs will be long), then look at making it user freiendly and firing the Arduio from ELE2. Thank you for your input.

Controlling Addrressable LED Strip with DMX

I'm very familar with EOS and will look up that ESPixelstick - it llks interesting. To reduce the usual pixel map load I'm heading toward programming an Arduino. There is a lot out there on there on the subject.

Controlling Addrressable LED Strip with DMX

We would like to use addressable LED strip. But light it in a way to carry a strobe along it for a short length and cut down on channels. Ive heard of DMX addressable LED controllers but not sure how to control the LED strip using as few addesses as possible. Ideas?

    Laser Prison!

Its worth a look. Thank you. I'm going to use a more homogenous haze rather than smoke or fog to show these lights up.

    Used Equipment

A local holiday park has asked me to find out if anyonw has upgraded to a new console recently and has a used one for sale. They are particulary interested in the ETC Element 2.

    Laser Prison!

We will be putting on "We Will Rock You" in a couple of months. The script calls for a "Laser Prison". Has anyone lit this show and/or any ideas or suggestions?

    Used Lighting Console

Interesting. Roughly where are you located? We are in central Florida. And just out of interest if the ELE1 is floating about what did you upgrade too? Personally I would love to see the day ETC moved the EOS to Linux. EOS is the only program on my PC at home that must have Windows. Without it...
