Keeping a gobo in focus while running a pan/tilt effect

Instead of a pan/ tilt effect, make a cuelist chase with a cue per position. Then you can aim and focus it for each. Then just chase through the cues.

    Etc Eos Gadget 2/ion

It's totally possible to get fluent on programming eos from a standard Qwerty. I have one space with Nomad and no keypad. I hated it the first day. But by now I can touch-type program any Eos faster from the Qwerty than from the ten thousand dollar keyboard they want to sell you.

    Auditorium Power Sequencing System

Thank you for the reply. The system is A&H SQ FOH, ethernet s-link to backstage rack, which contains AR2412. From the AR2412 is copper to the speakers (powered KLA12s, and KLA181 powered subs). There is also a QSC GXD4 power amp for some passive front fills, as well as racked transmitters for...

UV LEDS for blacklight theater effect

Hello,Its been a long time since I've done a theatrical production requiring blacklight effect. Back then (about 10 years ago) I rented Wildfires becuase it was cheaper than anything comparable with LED at the time. Is this still the case? Yamaha TF/Tio Mixers

Behringer just announced their successor to the X32. The Wing ships in January - lots of new features. The Yamaha TF is definitely a "dumbed down" console, with many basic features intentionally omitted in the interest of tailoring to users inexperienced with mixing. While not perfect, the...

Digital Console with Scene Fading or Crossfading

We ended up going Soundcraft SI Impact. For the price its the best bang for buck in terms of inputs 72 inputs for >$2500. The "regrets" are no crossfading, rare updates, and a touchscreen/menu experience that gives PTSD flashbacks to 1999 car GPS.

No more GrandMasters on ETC consoles

Its hard for me to imagine a circumstance where if all goes according to plan you would ever need a GM. Any cued show shouldn't use it. A well-busked show would have multiple stacks or submasters to do the same thing but with more flexibility.MAYBE as a part of shut down procedure, but even...
