DMX Adapters; Another 5 pin to 3 pin DMX question

HelloI am considering buying an American DJ lighting console for some basic shows I'm doing - they have a 3 pin DMX but I am using 5 pin DMX ETC Sensor dimmer racks. Can this be converted or no?

    ETC Express-programming chases simply?

As a newbie on the Express, I was not understanding in the manual where you add each channel in the step sequence. ie: ch.1 flashes 80%, then off; ch 2 flashes 40%, off - etc random speeds flashing thru say, 10 lamps on 10 channels?

    Control/Dimming difference between a Demultipler and DMX-Analog?

I would like to use a Behringer LC 2412 desk to control a older Strand cd80 dimmer pack, its analog. Behringer site says a 'demultiplexer' can be used to convert dmx to analog - is this the same as a DMX-Amx box? It also has a 15 pin analog out, but the Strands 01-0vdc is 25 pin - guess that...

Control/Dimming 15 pin D sub to 25 pin Strand analog work?

yes that is an option, but they cost ; ) Lo-budget here... What about this - the CD80 has AMUX i/o, would the 15 pin analog out from the behringer desk convert to that protocol?

Control/Dimming 15 pin D sub to 25 pin Strand analog work?

Hello!I recently aquired an older analog Strand CD80 dimmer pack (24 channel) and instead of converting it to DMX (expensive!) I saw Behringers Eurolight board has analog out control, via D sub 15 pin. Would this work with the 0-10vdc 25 pin input on the Strand dimmer?thanks!!
