Russell Langdon is a lighting designer based in Kansas City, MO. Over the last decade he has contributed lighting designs for Theater and Dance pieces, Operas, Concerts, Performance Art, and Events. He has guest lectured or been a designer in residence at Johnson County Community College, Oak Park Theatre, Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park, One Time Productions and many others. He is on the faculty of the Theatre Department at Johnson County Community College, and is proud to be an alumnus of Northwest Missouri State University. Russell’s work has been seen in most Kansas City Theaters as well as on Local television broadcasts, most recently in the 81st Annual Plaza Lighting Ceremony. In 2006 Russell joined Harvest Productions Inc., and most recently in 2011 joined Digital Sound Systems Inc as a Lighting Designer and Project Manager - continuing his focus on bringing a progressive visual aesthetic to non-theater markets such as Live Music, Corporate Events and Private Parties.
