Martin has a new LED ellopsoidal upstairs in 253. Lots of pretty features, clocking in at $1800 for the color option. Definatly worth a look.

WilliamsAV has a nice Metallica themed shirt. The Blizzard shirts are nice and soft too.

This has been my experience too, although now that I'm thinking on it, subjectively I see mostly male students at competitions, other than design. I do notice that male students want to talk over and dominate many tech projects, and I have to work to make sure girls don't become passive and...

There's a game in development close to release on Steam with a similar concept (maybe the same game?), and my first thought was that it would be like working at home as soon as I got off work.

I had a hard time getting Blizzard to talk to me- what's the story on the VR program? Strictly for training?

Check out modscenes.com. I wasn't initially impressed until I talked to them. They make lightweight scenic pieces out of PVC. Easy to build, they rent, and they do custom pieces like logos. I could see a huge use in churches or small clubs. It's a neat product, and the prices seemed affordable.

Flutterfetti has a DMX relay 110v 7-9 amp switch for $159. I wish it had more power, but I'm a fan of quick and cheap DMX relays.

CITC has a new effects mach in new with snow combined with lasers, the LB Dazzle. The effect looks like confetti / glitter without the clean up. That might be the most exciting product so far!

Shure is showing their Axient digital wireless for cramming more mics into limited spectrum space.They have a Showlink remote for re syncing mic transmitters remotely, with huh out having to raid a performers costume.New bodypack as well, with an internal antenna and recessed audio jack.

I don't know if anyone is here Sat, hope it's okay to cover a few items. GigGear has an interesting hands free harness for an iPad. Looks a bit like a front carry baby harness. Unlike my baby harness, it also has extra pockets for...everything?

ETC is showing their new moving light, the Relevé. It's up on their website too. Looks slick, with some very ETC-style elements. I don't want to mis-post the MSRP, but it sounded very reasonable when I spoke with them.

Some companies will let you huh out focus the light, and there's enough space to get a sense of beam throw. I like to hear what vendors have to say, but if I'm going to make a purchase I'll do it through my dealer I'm also leary of buying new products that haven't been bug tested yet

LDI has shirts at their booth. I think I left with enough shirts from various booths to avoid shopping for a bit I really like the new ETC design.
