i have worked a lot w/ the strand 300 series board... the one i worked w/ did not have the extra fader, but i did at one point look into it.... the extra faders are ment to be for individual channels.. if that helps you out.... as far as programing i would conrtact the store you or your...

Sometimes you just have to be patient and work for the fun stuff. for example.. over the summer i worked at Paramount's Kings Dominion in the entertainment department doing lights. At first all i did was hang the lights an do spot light. and i did that all summer long. then a week before i quit...
