    Splitting signals for monitors

so, here's my take on all this for the cheapest version. you use a Female to two Male XLR adapter like the one shown below and plug the female end to the mic, a male end to the monitor board, and the other male end to the foh board? i think this would work, please correct me if i am wrong.

exactly what he said, we did it last year at my school, it was exactly that except for a few sound effects (some explosions and what not, and a door buzzer that i ran threw a monitor under the stair way that i 'accidently' played extra extra loud and made everyone in the cast jump about a foot...

    Power tool wiring

well, for the first question, you must remember the age old formula. Watts = Volts x Amps if you have a one phase supply, say 120v, and it draws 15 amps, then that drill will use 1800 watts. but if you have a two phase supply, like 240v, with the same size motor, it would use the...

    Two mics in one jack

well, as a drummer, i think we should do away with all guitarists and annoying keyboard players to. all you really need is a drummer and a bass player and everyone knows this. :-)

    Two mics in one jack

i do, i run kick, one mic on floor tom, and one on rack toms(those two i split) snare, and maybe an overhead if i need it. but there are other aspects of the show that i just cant drop mics on. so, like always, the drums get short changed
