    Audio Broadcast for Graduation Event

My first suggestion would be to hit up any outdoor movie companies. Many offer FM broadcast capabilities, and can deal with licensing on their end. They may also have video wall trucks for your video elements. Random googling brings up FunFlicks and Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment. but I've never...

    Bel Digital Audio BM-A1-64Dante Firmware

Hey y'all,One of the venues I frequent has a Bel Digital Audio BM-A1-64Dante. From what I can tell via the WayBack Machine, Bel Digital went out of business last March. From what I can see, apparently there was a firmware update for the aforementioned piece of gear that the house tech didn't...

    Followspot recommendations?

The first thing I think when I see this thread is: Can the optics on your SuperArc 1266 be upgraded to the 1267, as suggested in this old thread:https://www.controlbooth.com/threads/followspot-suggestions.38152/That'd be my first suggestion! Check with Lycian, see if this is an option...

    Best "Clear-Com" headset?

A fourth vote for the DT-108s, they are extremely comfortable. Switching the side of the mic is certainly a pain, but they're just too comfortable to pass up!

Loudspeakers Small portable speakers for laptop/ipod hookup

I'm a fan of Galaxy Audio's stuff. I personally haven't tried out the Nano Spot, but I can say the larger PA6S packs a pretty decent punch. Maybe see if a local guitar center has one to try before you buy to make sure sound quality's up to your liking.

    LED Tri vs LED RGD

If you have the money, go with the Tri fixtures.Basically, the difference, besides the potential quality of the LEDs, is the fact that with fixtures that use discrete RGB LED sources, they rely on distance to blend these three colors into one uniform color. Unfortunately, with so many point...

    Mac 250 lamp error

I'm no repair tech, but I recall having the exact same issue with a number of our Mac300s. From what I recall, the lamp sensor would fail after x amount of time once the fixture was powered, which would make the fixture believe that the lamp was damaged, and would not pan/tilt. Everything else...

Blacklight revisited : UV LED VS. FL VS. MV - output quality

The university I work at recently purchased two ADJ ECO UV Bars and two ADJ UVLED Bar16s. First show we used them on was a small black light party. They were used along side traditional Chauvet 400W UV Canons and 4' UV tubes. Honestly, it's really a matter of opinion as to whether they are...

    Martin Light Jockey Help

So... are you saying that you would have all three sequences in one cue running in continuous loops automatically, and you would like to have one of the three visible, then switch to another, then switch to a third? Or You would like all three sequences sitting idle, and you manually...

Thin long RGB LED strip advice

I'd second looking at Enttec's ALEPH1 LED strips. They are easily daisy chainable, come in a variety of lengths, are are decently bright. They also won't break the bank.

    Coemar's new release Reflection LEDko

I spoke with Coemar's dealer in the States. Apparently when Coemar says there are "various angles available," they currently mean that you can purchase it with either a 26* lens, a Fresnel style or a PC style barrel. You can use the shutters in all configurations, but obviously you may need...

    DMX control of RGB LEDs

Well, if you do use the Color Web, it looks like if you purchase the Color Web DMX Power Supply, you should be set to go. From what I can tell, it would allow you to pretty much plug in your web, and have individual control and power for all the LEDs. Chroma-Q - Products - Creative LED - Color...

    Need Recommendations concerning LED Tubes

For Lightjockey, I would suggest working your way through the help manual found at ftp://ftp.martin.dk/controller/Lightjockey/docs/ You will need to log in as a guest, and then grab the doc entitled "lj-Help_2_95_1.pdf" Additionally, searching the Lightjockey forums on Martin's website can...
