Could you please explain me how to correctly tune to the room? Is there any method for doing this? Does the frequency for feedback change from rehearsal (empty house) to live concerts on the same room (full house)?

From what Allen & Heath told me, the software to record the channels are free of charge. I didn't check this, and just assumed it is true. I may later read the several tracks, possibly using the mixer (or ProTools) to record on a CD.

Have you looked at Midas Venice? It is also a great analog mixer, comes with 16, 24 or 32 channels, and has a firewire interface, which will allow you also to connect to a computer without any more cards or special interfaces. The quality of the mixer is excellent.

What You are saying is not true. I know some mixers that cost way above 10k. Midas pro2 is just one example. An Allen & Heath GLD can cost over 15k.
