Automated Fixtures Best guess as to why my fixture is overheating.

Okay, Sorry its been a while, but I am still battling my oby-600. So here is what happened since we last talked. I have taken a good light and set it next to the "bad" light, removed all the covers. I thought if it was overheating I might see a change. I did not. Let me describe the path...

Automated Fixtures Best guess as to why my fixture is overheating.

Automated Fixtures Best guess as to why my fixture is overheating.

Ship- all great points. I acquired most of my fixtures from clubs and churches that stuck them in a ceiling and turned them on for years on end. :) I rehabbed and cleaned them, so you will never have to tell me about the importance of fans and filters! lolI was not aware of the terminal...

I have rehabbed them with new control boards and while using them in a show last weekend one of them blew the Thermistor used to limit the current inrush. I replaced the Thermistor with a part from a spare fixture, but it is running extremely...

Design Need Help with RS-232 port on MLC16

I have booked two shows for New Years and that means I have to get out the old MLC16. I had it all programed and the new kid flashed it. I don't have a disk drive on it and I have all the DDL's. My question is how to I load it from the computer? I would think hyper terminal or something...
