Control/Dimming Ion 5 pin DMX to 3 Pin DMX NSI Dimmer Packs

We got our "magic box" for around $500 bucks. Actually we had two of them... Then they both broke. I guess they weren't made for life outside of a permanent install.Does anybody know how much the mod costs from NSI for the DDS 6000?

Automated Fixtures Looking for the right LED

I am currently trying to find an LED instrument to replace some PAR 64's. I need something that will closely match a PAR with a 1000 watt wide (or at least a medium) lamp. It will also need color mixing and be able to use outdoors. I have tried looking all over, but with the plethora of...

    Maintaining an outdoor stage

Oh believe me sharyn, that deck gets painted 3 or 4 times a year and every spring it gets worse and worse! The deck can't be lifted as the 4x4's the ply rests on are the base. The best part of all this is the fact that they built another outdoor space and I tried to get them to use...

    Battle Scene

The show will be outdoors so fog is a little unreliable. I think I might stuff some kids upstage of the barrier and have them throw splinters while hitting it with pieces of steel! I really enjoy putting people in tiny spaces on the stage.

Use of trig in lighting design

Yeah I'm about to get my A.A.S. in electronics tech. I thank god they made me take trig before throwing me to wolves. All AC and wave analysis is trig. Let me know if you need any help designing that wave shaper. And YES multisim is very nice, but I gotta say blowin up parts on a proto board...

Some VW or CAD help please.

Here's a copy of a plot I received via e-mail from a designer... By the way he did admit that it was "totally ghetto." I believe the email's subject read "It's better to be a gin soaked grape, than a raisin in the sun."
