I earned a B.M.E. in 1984 and M.M. in Music Comp/Theory in 1986 and taught music in public and private schools to the present. For several years following I worked as a freelance pit-orchestra conductor, but had to give it up to serve in the 35th Infantry Division Band of the Kansas Army National Guard in the U.S. I recently retired in July 2008 after 21 years service. I currently own a new recording studio, Symphonic Studios Inc. and President & Founder of a 501c3 non-profit called, "The Peoples Theatre Inc.". My jazz group called, "Tara Glades & The 7th Hour Jazz Combo" has a CD created to raise funds for the construction of a new theatre in downtown Garnett, KS. It is a relatively poor community with a lot of artistically talented people with no venue to grow so I am seeking national support to build a $5,000,000 Visual & Performing Arts Facility to service the area. I currently do construction and will be building a coffee house, "The Coffee Loft" in downtown Garnett, KS which will need some stage lighting because we aim to promote local performing artist when possible. Please help us build this building.
