The 360's are very sensitive graphs. It says 12 db but in reality it is much more. There's no reason why the eq shouldn't work in line. There can be problems mixing a console into a console, but nothing that would change the sensitivity of the graph. Especially if it's run in-line. On the 360's...

The 5d firmware is amazingly stable compared to most of the other consoles out there. It's the single most used digital desk.

Those bose headphones have roughly a 7 db boost around 80hz and a 10db cut around 500 hz as well as 2k. Higher up it only gets worse. Bose makes probably the most colored headphones in this price range IMO.

On Both Versions of the 5d, there are only 12, 31band, eq's. Each input does however have a 4 band parametric eq as well as each output having an 8 band parametric. Also, each channel has a gate as well as a compressor.

I like sennheiser hd 280's. Fairly flat response, screw on 1/4" adapter, comfortable, not too expensive. The pair I have will cut out on one side once every few months, but after 60,000 miles, that's to be expected. A few strong shakes usually clears it up. I see a lot of engineers with them too...
