Hey All,I am training on an ETC Congo, the Version 6, main console. And, I was wondering, can anyone here explain the direct selects to me? For example, how to load to them, what can go in them and so forth? Thank you!

so basically...if I dont want to go to cue zero or anything, I should just bring everything down to zero manually and work from there, record the cue and move on? then when i release the channels finally it will go back to the cue...I guess I started with?

For the record, I HATE sliding side arms. Theres a little bolt at the end to stop it...but still, it seriously bothers me! I am feeling really bad about today though...
I see what you mean...I got the assistantship, which means that I have to work for the school too as, like, a staff member. They pay my tuition and they pay me to go to school too..the catch is the working for the school. It does get experience, but yeah I LOVE design much more...

Hanging and focusing, hanging is not a huge issue because I usually put the light on the pipe and then safety it and then I tighten the pipe bolt. But focusing it..and yoking it out is where I begin to worry most...and having to twist the light in funky ways..
