I spent the better part after graduation from high school in Dubuque Iowa going to college off and on and trying to receive my undergrad degree. Started off as a music ed major, and quickly realized that I didn't want to be there (mainly because of the department, I still love music). Got into community theater acting and eventually design technically...everything.

My first professional paid gig was as a stagehand for the local arena/theater, and still work there today when I can. Eventually I went back to college full time at the University of Northern Iowa, and in May 2008 was the first graduate to receive all three emphases in theater: Performance, Design and Production, and Drama for Youth.

While at UNI I spent three summers working as a carpenter for the Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore, Texas where I met some of the most amazing professional artists in my career.

I am now starting my first season with the Omaha Theater Company at the Rose Blumkin Performing Arts Center for Children...or The Rose as we call it. We are the third largest theater for youth company in the nation producing 7 mainstage shows a year, and 4 ballet productions per year. It's an exciting job and I can utilize all three degrees that I have.
