well the thought just came to me as i loked through our "OMG" (one of two closets). we have a mixer with a power-amp that has seperate 3 ban eq's with gain andvarious other settings, as a musictian i kinda know them well and was able to get it to work, thank you though.

so currently we are doing a musical, and its in a small confined space. we are using two hanging mics for a single scene to pump up some of the quieter "customers" volumes. we cannot hang them from the grid because the speakers are too close to the mics and will just pump more music, not voices...

so.....superstitions.....believe in them?? i kinda do. this week every single one of our techies had something happen to them. Our TD had his hand like eaten away when a light tree collapsed on his hand. Our SM had a wanger slice her leg open, I had a nail impaled into the bone of my foot...

thanks for all the imput and help, we found that it was actually the rheostat that was the prob. we had 300 and needed 12, plus the cable that we were using wasnt grounded properly, so we also had to do surgery and fix that as well. Thanks all, Torch

we have swag lights connected to a channel in the back of our stage, but the swag lights seem to be undimmable. From the booth, we try the wheel to dim them, but they dont dim, they just go off after they hit zero, but the dont dim at all. does anyone have any suggestions on what might be going...

im taking it that van is an old grumpy man then :P
