It mounts on a 2 gang, but yes, it does take up 4 gang of space, if that makes sense. And yes, it is only rated for 600w. (Sorry, it the closest thing I could think of)

The closest thing I can think of is a captivation dimmer from Phillips. That being said, it does fit on a 2 gang box, but sticks way out from it. They are a great product though, if you can make it work...

Voltage being over 115v at the lamp socket. Burned sockets. Non-long life lamps..

But, one thing to remember is that those ancient C-clamps aren't rated hardware. And certainly should not be used for anything other than the conventional a they were originally designed for use with.

Well, Pathway Connectivity makes a great one. LINK But the MSRP is over $500.. same problem as the Elation model, so thats probably not helpful. Overall, its not a problem of the tape, its a problem in the lower cost controllers. Sorry not more helpful.

Really? I don't have any experience with this specific fixture, but I have yet to see one that this was possible. Usually there are specific mounting points, and/or cable runs that have work in a specific orientation.

Wow, that's actually much cheaper than I thought it would be. I figured it was more in the 100k range, especially since you need fiber, and a bad boy to go with it. For 35k it's almost reasonable.

I agree on the truss, it looks awesome. The amount of truss you can pack into a single dolly is sick!

So, coolest item I have seen so far is the RDM2Go from chauvet! It is a great little piece of kit. It has nearly all the functions of all he other handheld Dmx tools on the market, but also includes RDM tools. In testing in the chauvet booth, it was very impressive for the price point!

Well, theres the LED Source 4 Fresnel kit.. Not the cheapest option... But maybe a good option.

I'm with Bill here, This looks not right.. Also, So you have conduit attached to the pipe, but the pipe is hanging from aircraft cable? That also doesn't seem quite right.Even with your caveats. I think you should get a rigging company to come in and take a look.

Not to be a debbie downer, but WTF? Who did the install? There is no way this is code compliant. Especially for a public space! How much pipe is cantilevered past the last pick point? How is the aircraft cable attached to the pipe? Why does it look like the 3rd cable is totally slack? And I am...

Remember though, if you are using the pass through, you need to make sure you purchase 4/0 for feeding the first disto. (I actually would prefer if both runs were 4/0 to avoid confusion)
