Hello,I'm planning an installation with a TripleHead2Go DP edition with two DP to HDMI adapters + 100' length HDMI cables going to projectors. Are there going to be any issues with cables this long? I can't find any answers on Matrox's website. The HDMI cables have a booster built in. Trying...
I'm not. :)Carting around a base station, etc. doesn't fit in with my workflow, and I need the audio quality of the Sennheiser's. I guess I don't know, but I suspect that the headsets on Clearcom equipment isn't at the same level of Sennheiser, since their main purpose is to hear intercom...
!!!Actually I think this may be exactly what I need! Never heard of such a thing, and from what I'm reading it looks like this will accomplish the goal. I'll give it a shot--thank you so much!
I'm specifically trying to figure out a way for his mic, when he switches it on, to interrupt the audio I was listening to. If I just wanted to hear both sources there are plenty of solutions, but that's not what I'm trying to do. Many of the environments I work in are very loud, and it becomes...
Unless I'm missing something on here, this appears to be just another complete intercom system. Remember that I'm trying to use the existing infrastructure that I have, and I need to be able to use my own headset. Thank you though.
It is for a few reasons-I don't want the expense of a ClearCom
-These are events where I try to get in and out as quickly as possible, so setting up a base station is something I want to avoid
-I need the quality of these Sennheiser headsets, and already spent a chunk of money on them, so I...
I don't plug my headset into the sound board, I plug it into the camera. For various reasons I feel much more comfortable monitoring the audio that's being recorded by the camera, not simply the audio coming out of the sound board. So I need a way to do this that's independent of the sound...
Hi everyone,I have a bit of a unique situation (I think) and hoping someone can provide the right solution.I do event video production where I'm mixing my sound feed while taping, and also have need to communicate with my other videographer. I wear a Sennheiser HMD-280XQ headset w/ a boom...
Back to my original point...I'm hearing the only way I can do what I'm trying is by locking on the talk button. Correct that there's no way for the handset to trigger this on?
I know that's one solution, but that means it has to be re-turned on every time the system powers up each day (something some of my tech's won't remember to do) and then there's hiss going through the system constantly. I guess I was assuming that pressing the talk button on the handset would...
I'm using a Clear-Com HS-6 push-to-talk handset w/ an RS-601 beltpack. I finally figured out that I have to press both the talk button on the beltpack and the talk button the handset to make it work. Is there a way I'm missing to only have to press the handset talk button?ThanksZach
I realize I'm using very objective terms. I did testing with the camera by flashing a menu up on the screen, looking at the LCD on the camera and the TV at the same time to see how much delay there was and it was nearly instantaneous. Our conductor confirmed this, and then watched himself...
I know the issue of delay with LCD panel televisions used for conductor monitors has been brought up before, but my situation is slightly different and I haven't found a clear answer for it. I'm using a cheap Sony Handycam sent through an RF modulator, to a distribution amp and out to two TVs on...
