Control/Dimming Hogs (JANDS, etc.)

I started to read this and i was like Jands HOG?? I thought they were 2 different companies. Learned something new today.

There are at least 3 companies making consoles under the hog name, one of whom is Jands. I think high end is another.

New to this forum - our church owns a Hog 1000 and I want to install fixtures not currently in the library (American DJ Meg Bar 50). I've researched how to do this, but what I've found, I've not been able to do. Maybe I need to update software, but am worried about losing current shows, etc. Any help. I'm somewhat familiar with the console, but definitely not an expert.

I saw that during my research. When I went to add the fixture, following the instructions I found and using a pc, the "windows" didn't look the same. My pc .lib file contained a bunch of numbers and was read only. I was using my show disk. That was why I was asking about updating my software before trying to install new fixtures

You can try updating your software just reload the show. Jands made the hog Highend distributed them.
