ClearCom Wireless to wired setup

Hello

We have a standard 4 channel Clear-com system with wired ports around our facility. I just ordered and received a CleearCom wireless base station WBS 680.

I would like to place that wireless station backstage which is where my students will be using the wireless belt-packs and headsets.

Question- how can I connect the wireless WBS 680 to the wired system? Can I simply plug it in to two ports on the wall? Does it have to be plugged in directly to the wired base station?

As much as I like ClearCom, the instruction book for this base-station is not clear.

thanks for any advice.

Having had a quick look at the manual, you should be fine to plug the wireless base in wherever you have access to the party line.
The one thing that may change that is if you want to connect the auxiliary audio to a program feed, or the stage announce to somewhere, as they may not be available where comms lines otherwise are...
