Single Channel DMX Driver for Co2 Jet

We are going to need a lot more information, to even know what questions to ask.

Since i am successful in building my own Co2 jet but i am stuck with a problem regarding DMX Driver.
Unable to get the DMX Driver to used to operate it via DMX .
Any suggestions please .
Thank You
What do you need DMX to do for you?
Sample questions: Open a solenoid valve which controls Co2?
If so, do you already have this valve?
If so, is the solenoid operated by an AC or DC coil and, if so, at what voltage?
Do you need DMX to do anything proportional, or is this simply an On - Off / Go - No Go application?
Help us to help you.
Toodleoo!

Ok, I'll be the spoil-sport.
DMX is kind of lousy to run special effect of any kind on. It often pukes out a random value, which is invisible when you are dealing with lights, but may trip a mechanical device such as a solenoid.
Sometimes, the direct wired primitive switch works best ;)

My thot is "don't bother." The dmx module will require you to have dmx ports (in and out) and to have all the other electronics involved with it. Those are fairly available and cheap, but it's one more thing to design into your product. One more thing to go wrong. Get one of these type of product http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/115...t-pti=115803&gclid=CJql76uLoc8CFYEZgQodb-gNIg or google "single channel dmx relay" or "switch." You don't want a dimmer.

The other question is: why are you building a co2 cannon when they are readily available already?

What is readily available in the US is not necessarily going to be so readily available in India, and if it is, we might have voltage issues...

I was leading towards what JD has mentioned. DMX can be a part of this, but only with other safety checks and balances, interlocks, arming switches, etc.
There are generally better ways to solve the problem though...
