might be useful to mention what you're having problems with. You could do a small upright piano if you're really struggling. super box, super easy. what are you having problems with?

We only have a few set pieces we have to build and the play isnt until feb 17 but we have small stuff inbetween now and then and our teacher wants us to go all out on the few things we have to build

With a non-answer like that, you could have a future in politics.

Going all out doesn't really explain what issues you're having though. I believe when we made it we cut the shape out of ply twice, braced it some so you could stand on it and faced it all with bendy ply/ whacky wood and stuck some legs on it.

Its tough to go all out on the piano, I mean its a kids piano, not some Baroque piece

How much all out do you need?? Keep it simple especially when it is made simple to begin with.

Thank you this is what i needed to know. Where did you get the bendy ply

Find a good lumber yard. I don't know that I've ever seen it in a box store.

If you have trouble sourcing the bendy-ply, I wonder if you could use a couple layers of vinyl flooring. Also, instead of taking the time to make a keyboard, put the word out that you're in need of an old, non working is ok electronic keyboard. In most areas someone has one that is collecting dust and taking up space in the garage.

For that matter, I've used Maso in a pinch. Won't work on super tight bends but depending on the curve of your piano you might be able to pull it off.

Wet maso with a series of half-depth relief cuts with take a bend pretty well.
